Design & Construct Refurbishment
JobReady engaged PMG Group to design and construct their new open, professional and collaborative workspace for their consolidated team. The relocation was perfectly timed to align with their re-brand. So… they wanted a space that reflected their strong culture and created a sense of unity in who they are as a brand and a business. The brief called for a completely new work environment with a heightened level of vibrancy to energise and activate the team. Flexibility in their meeting spaces was key, offering staff options for work, relaxation and socialising. Staff needed to experience the journey of closing their existing office as JobReady and arriving in their new space, working together under 1 roof as ReadyTech. They didn’t have a lot of money to spend so creative cost-effective solutions were a must!
From the moment you walk in, you are embraced with the vibrancy of the brand and the culture. The reception has a moody, raw vibe with the concrete floor and black wall providing the perfect backdrop and contrast, helping the new bright neon logo to really “pop”. To cut down on cost, a good portion of existing workstations and chairs were relocated. To provide the flexibility the team needed, operable walls divide their three front-of-house meeting rooms, to allow for one large space for use as their training, meeting, and wellness facility for yoga and meditation. The breakout is generously large and inviting so everyone can gather, socially interact and connect in one space.
Seeing how excited the management team were to share the new office with all of their staff and how they unveiled it was very rewarding. Working with the ReadyTech team was an absolute pleasure. We worked collaboratively throughout the space. The huge graphics envelope the space and help the staff to connect immediately with the new brand. The official office opening day was a big celebration with breakfast and branded T-shirts – a true celebration of coming together and looking to the future of ReadyTech.
Budget constrains meant some very innovative cost saving solutions had to be sourced throughout the project to achieve additional requests from the client.
