THE JEWEL OF BALMAIN EAST WILL SHINE AGAIN

The design team have recently been working on a different type of Project to our usual, a Lobby space for some residential apartments by the water.

We presented the client with two schemes, both very different  in design. The concept was to create a light and fresh space that would breathe life into this currently dark and tired lobby.

Concept A is a fresh design, inspired by the water surrounds, with a deep blue sea-grass wallpaper above white wall panelling and a white timber ceiling with warm sandstone floor tiles.

This classic look, inspired by the Hamptons style of design, will work well with the heritage nature of the area.

For Concept B is a more contemporary design, within which we selected a warm palette consisting of Polished Concrete to the floors and Limestone Clad Walls.

The Ceilings and Joinery are a warm walnut timber and elements of black and brass are throughout the space creating a refined and luxurious entry to these modern apartments.

The two designs are up for a vote and the tenants have three weeks before the winning design is announced- so we are excited to find out which concept they choose!
