Situated at the epicenter of Brisbane’s CBD, Midtown Centre is a remarkable testament to innovation. It seamlessly integrates two pre-existing office buildings to create a premium A-Grade commercial office space. Boasting a strategic position within the Brisbane CBD, in close proximity to the Golden Triangle commercial precinct and conveniently surrounded by a wealth of retail, parklands, and major public transportation, Midtown Centre has become the sought-after choice for businesses.
PMG was engaged to design and fitout a 1400sqm full-floor speculative suite at Midtown Centre, meticulously designed to captivate a wide array of potential tenants while seamlessly harmonising with the building’s opulent ambiance. 
Winner – Commercial Category
Amid fierce competition with over 800 national entries and more than 200 entrants from Queensland, this project won the prestigious Commercial Category award at the 2023 polytec Design Awards.
THE RESULTS
Thanks to a collaborative effort with Midtown Centre’s owners and leasing teams, we’ve achieved a remarkable outcome – a captivating workplace that seamlessly blends the old and the new.
The impressive front-of-house area offers a premium experience, featuring spacious meeting spaces that cater to the lease appeal of this sizeable tenancy. On the work floor, we’ve created a dynamic, adaptable environment that accommodates various working styles. Curved designs were strategically used to infuse energy into the space, promoting interaction and communication. Additionally, we’ve integrated biophilic design elements to enhance the workplace’s performance, health, and overall well-being.
Our choice of finishes was centered on creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that unifies different zones with a consistent color scheme throughout the floor, allowing any brand to easily blend their identity into the space. We’ve also prioritised environmentally sustainable finishes, furniture, and design, aligning with Midtown Centre’s commitment to promoting wellness in the workplace.
